Smoked Pría

Pasteurized milk / Cow - Sheep

Artisanal cheese produced in the area of Llanes, from milk from cows and sheep (10%) pasteurized, slightly smoked oak wood base.

The methodology currently being developed for smoking Pría differs substantially from that, back in 1938, Juan Inés Blanco employed in the preparation of their first smoking Pría.

However, there is no doubt that his successor, the family Inés Granda, have managed to not only maintain the original spirit and traditional family, but also to adapt the production of this gem family to new technologies and market demands.

Cylindrical bark brown cheese, presented in mini format. Elastic paste with a few yellowish-white eyes. Texture soft, flexible and elastic. Semi-fat, with short maturation period (30-40 days). Aromas of smoke from hardwood (oak and beech).
